Legends of Pap

My editor told me today that the book is "going to disk" tomorrow. I guess that's the 21st century equivalent of "going to the presses." Doesn't sound quite as dramatic though. What if I find something wrong with it? What does one yell?

"STOP THAT SERVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Last night I pulled my first all-nighter since my son was born, but it reminded me more of college. I was fact-checking the last third of the book. I found a lot of errors. So I don't want to even think about what I missed.

Consistent with my creative process, I've decided I hate everything I wrote.
