Bon Jovi is too easy a target. Not amused. If only such "hip" bands like Son Volt or Arcade Fire or The Decemberists or Bright Eyes or Wilco could write just one song as triumphant and hook-laden and well... damn hummable as "Living On A Prayer," or "It's My Life," then maybe music would be fun again, instead of the boring, unlistenable, tedious crap that it has become. Bring back Asia. And Whitesnake. And The Fixx. And The Knack. And all those easy targets. They could teach this current crop of no-hit wonders how to write a tune.
